Shane Morgan began his racing career at the age of seven by racing go-karts. Morgan continued this love affair until 1998, when he began running Mini-Sprint cars. During his first spectacular season with Mini-Sprints, Morgan finished with 7 top fives, 10 top tens, 2 feature wins, and finished 4th in points. In 2000, he took on the grueling task of racing Injected Sprint Cars while continuing to race and excel in the Mini Sprints. Also in 2000, Morgan finished 2nd in points in the Injected Sprinters Class and won the SOWRA Championship. He continued the winning streak into November, 2000 when he finished 2nd in the “Dash for Cash” at East Bay, FL. Morgan began racing with ASCS association and USCS association Sprints in 2001 and began racing with SUPR association Sprints in 2002, finishing 4th in points with them in 2003. Morgan was 1st in points in SUPR in 2004, until the final race where he fell back to a 3rd place finish for the year (DNF due to an accident). He began racing with CSA association in 2004, winning CSA Points Championship in 2005.  Morgan competed with the Heintz Performance American Sprint Car Series in their championship race at Lowe’s Motor Speedway in Charlotte, NC on October 28, 2005, winning his heat. He then finished 5th out of 24 cars on October 29, 2005 in the 25 lap feature race. Also in 2005, Morgan finished 5th in points with SUPR association, after only running 4 times during the season. His success continued in 2005 with the CSA Sportsmanship Award, contribution to his election as CSA board member for the 2006 season. Overall, Morgan claims 121 feature wins and 9 track championships, and since 2002, he has had 83 top fives, 15 top tens, and 30 wins.
